Whether you’re in Augustine Heights or Silkstone, our rubbish removal and skip bin hire services offer a convenient and cost effective way to remove your rubbish in Ipswich.
Skip bins are suited to a wide range of applications and are an ideal way to get rid of bulky, non-compactable waste at your home or business. If you’re looking for a skip bin hire in Ipswich, you’ve come to the right place.
Some of the common uses for skip bins is for renovations or building sites, landscaping or garden clean ups, and deceased estates. Skips are also often used on demolition sites, as there is a lot of large, heavy debris that cannot be disposed of in council bins.
Trying to decide what kind of rubbish removal is best for you? These are some of the questions you can use to determine which method is best suited to you:
- What type of rubbish do I have? i.e., furniture, green waste or renovation.
- Where is the rubbish located and how easy would it be for a truck to get close to it?
- Are there any individually heavy items i.e. piano or washing machine?
- Would you require one or two men to complete the job, or could you move things yourself?
- Are there any height restrictions on the property?
These questions will help you get a better understanding of the type of rubbish removal you need. For example, if you have heavy individual items like piano or washing machines, then you’ll likely need the assistance of a hands-on rubbish removal service.
If, however, you can move the items yourself, for instance green waste, and there are some height restrictions on the property that would inhibit our trucks from entering, your best option would be a skip bin.
Once you’ve decided on a skip bin hire in Ipswich, you may be wondering how long you can hire it for or what kinds of things can be put into it. To answer some of these questions, we’ve put together a few handy FAQs.
Did you know that one 6m3 skip bin holds the equivalent of 6 box trailers or 25 wheelie bins?

What if I don’t know how much rubbish I’ll have?
That’s ok, the great thing about 1300Clearout is that we only charge you by how much you fill the bin. All of our bins come as a standard seven cubic metres in size, then we charge you by the level mark you reach on the side of the bin. The levels are 3m3, 4m3, 5m3, 6m3 and 7m3. All you need to do is pay the minimum charge which covers you up to the 3m3 level, then on collection you settle the balance if you have used more than the 3m3 level.
Do I need to be there when the skip is delivered?
No, you don’t need to be there, but please let us know if you have any special delivery instructions when you make the booking and ensure that there is access to the property.
Is it possible to order my skip a few weeks in advance?
Yes, you can organise the drop off in advance for a date and time that suits you. Book online here or get in touch with our friendly team to organise the best time.
Where should I put my skip bin?
Our skip bins can be placed anywhere you like. They conveniently come on wheels, so they can be placed in your garage or under the carport for example, and easily moved. Getting the skip bin placed within your property is a good idea as it limits access to the bin from others.
